We settled the cats in to greet their sitter when she comes every day, they we head north to Charlevoix to catch the boat to BEAVER ISLAND! We left the house at 8:43 (Trudy said) and had all of the "stuff" out of the car by Noon. This is was VERY fast trip. I was VERY excited to find that three of the gal-pals from watercolor class were going up to paint for 10 days, and one of my fellow teachers from Rockford was going to be in my paper class with me. Here we all are on the Good Ship Shamrock.
We head out under the Charlevoix bridge for the open waters of Lake Michigan. Three hours later we pass this "little" toy boat of someone's in St. James Harbor. As we cruise in past the Coast Guard Station it really feels to me as if we are HOME AGAIN!!!
